Investigations by the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF)

This dossier concerns a proposed regulation on investigations by the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF). The amendments address strengthening the fight against fraud and corruption affecting the Community's financial interests, cooperation with Member States, Eurojust and Europol, procedural guarantees and fundamental rights of persons concerned (including Members of the European Parliament and journalists' sources), the Office's information policy, the Supervisory Committee's powers, the Director-General's independence, and a European Public Prosecutor's Office.
