Summary
Directive on the conditions of entry and residence of third-country nationals for the purposes of highly qualified employment. The amendments address a demand-driven entry system based on professional qualifications and salary thresholds, the principle of equal pay for equal work, the EU Blue Card and intra-EU mobility, definitions of higher education and professional qualifications, and avoiding 'brain drain' through ethical recruitment in developing countries.
