Summary
Legislative proposal on the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion (2010). The amendments revise recitals on people at risk of poverty including children, the multi-dimensional nature of poverty and social exclusion, groups at higher risk identified in National Action Plans for Social Inclusion, in-work poverty, and the Year's objectives of recognition of rights, shared responsibility, cohesion and commitment.
