Impact of cohesion policy on the integration of vulnerable communities and groups
Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): HARANGOZÓ Gábor (PSE)
Summary
An own-initiative report on the impact of cohesion policy on the integration of vulnerable communities and groups. The amendments address socio-economic and territorial disparities between and within regions, the concentration of growth in urban centres and the disadvantage of peripheral and rural areas, the lack of micro-regional statistical data, links between rural development and regional policy, and combating poverty and social exclusion, citing the EC Treaty and the Social Agenda.
