This own-initiative dossier in the international trade committee concerns the Union's trade defence instruments. The amendments rework references and recitals on the review of trade defence instruments and anti-dumping and anti-subsidy rules, the Commission's Green Paper and public consultation, the WTO and Doha negotiations, unfair trade practices, the inclusion of labour and environmental standards and production cost factors, and effects on EU competitiveness, companies and jobs.
