Summary
An own-initiative report being the 2006 annual report on the Common Foreign and Security Policy. The amendments rework provisions on the CFSP and European Security and Defence Policy, Parliament's scrutiny and democratic legitimacy, consultation of partners and the High Representative, the European Security Strategy and its updating, human security and the responsibility to protect, NATO relations, and energy security and dependence on undemocratic countries.
