Summary
This own-initiative report concerns the mid-term review of industrial policy as a contribution to the EU's growth and jobs strategy. Amendments address eliminating administrative barriers and reducing burdens on SMEs, a "law for small companies", low-carbon industrial objectives and ecological innovation, transport infrastructure and industrial clusters, access to raw materials, the Community patent, standardisation, public procurement, venture capital, research and development, and the competitiveness of European industry.
