White Paper on nutrition, overweight and obesity related health issues

An own-initiative report on the White Paper on nutrition, overweight and obesity-related health issues. The amendments revise recitals on overweight and obesity as a growing epidemic and cause of mortality and morbidity, including cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes, child and abdominal obesity, the role of physical activity and balanced diet, the 'obesogenic' environment, costs to health care, and higher incidence in lower socio-economic groups.
