Summary

This dossier concerns statistics on the trading of goods between Member States (Intrastat) and Commission implementing powers. Amendments revise provisions of Regulation (EC) No 638/2004 on conferring powers on the Commission, including investigating a single-flow reporting system through a possible pilot project, thresholds exempting parties from providing Intrastat information, and statistical confidentiality where parties so request.
