Summary
This dossier concerns a recast of the regulation on substances depleting the ozone layer. The amendments address phasing out ozone-depleting substances, links to greenhouse gases and the Montreal and Kyoto Protocols, controlled substances such as methyl bromide, hydrochlorofluorocarbons and halons, feedstock and processing-agent uses, labelling, derogations and their annual review, recovery and destruction of banked substances, and Member State inspections.
