Summary
A recast legislative dossier on the criteria and mechanisms for determining the Member State responsible for examining an application for international protection. The amendments address the Common European Asylum System, detention of asylum seekers as a temporary administrative measure, a mechanism for suspending transfers, solidarity between Member States, family members and unaccompanied minors, and information provided in a language the applicant understands.
