Summary
The dossier is a report on an integrated maritime policy for the EU. The amendments address short sea shipping and a common maritime transport area, opposition to liberalising port services, maritime surveillance and a possible European coastguard, the outermost regions, climate change and rising sea levels, reducing greenhouse gas, sulphur and NOx emissions from ships, and land-based electricity for ships in port.
