Summary
An own-initiative report on the impact of the Lisbon Treaty on the development of the institutional balance of the European Union. The amendments address the Presidency of the European Council and the rotating Presidency, the High Representative/Vice-President post, gender balance in the top nominations, troikas, Parliament's supervisory and scrutiny powers over delegated and implementing acts, the composition of Parliament, and the election of the Commission President.
