2050: The future begins today - Recommendations for the EU's future integrated policy on climate change

An own-initiative report with recommendations for the EU's future integrated policy on climate change towards 2050. The amendments address keeping global temperature increases below 2 degrees, the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report, the climate and energy package and Kyoto targets, a common energy policy including a supergrid, solar energy and hydrogen, sustainable biomass and biofuels and their impact on food prices and deforestation, energy efficiency targets, and livestock emissions.
