Summary

An own-initiative report on financing actions other than Official Development Assistance in countries falling under Regulation (EC) No 1905/2006. The amendments envisage Community actions in developing countries to improve mutual understanding or serve EU strategic interests that fall outside ODA classification, and request the Commission to submit a legislative proposal for a financing instrument or amendments to Council Regulation (EC) No 1934/2006.
