Summary
The dossier addresses the social situation of the Roma and their improved access to the labour market in the EU. The amendments revise recitals on the Roma as the largest minority, discrimination, poverty and unemployment, the effects of the 2004 and 2007 enlargements, segregation and ghettoisation, housing, health and schooling, and equal-opportunity policies and social inclusion.
