Summary
An own-initiative report on the social responsibility of subcontracting undertakings in production chains. The amendments revise recitals and provisions on fragmented production and value chains, falsely self-employed and letterbox or manpower companies, vulnerability of sectors such as construction to abuse, equal pay for equal work, social labelling and core labour standards, exclusion from public procurement of undertakings infringing labour law, joint and several liability, and national liability schemes established by several Member States.
