2007 discharge: EU general budget, Economic and Social Committee

Discharge decision on the 2007 implementation of the EU general budget concerning the Economic and Social Committee. The amendment notes that, despite amendments to the Financial Regulation, its procurement rules remain excessively cumbersome for smaller institutions such as the EESC, especially for tenders for contracts of relatively small amounts, and invites the Commission to address this in its preliminary work.
