Summary
An own-initiative report on the EU-Africa partnership one year after Lisbon. The amendments address poverty eradication and the Millennium Development Goals, the joint Africa-EU strategy as a partnership of equals, involvement of civil society, local authorities and the Pan-African and European Parliaments, the European Development Fund and its budgetisation, governance, the African Peer Review Mechanism, trade and regional integration, peace, security and capacity building for AU institutions.
