Summary
A consultation dossier establishing the European Year of Volunteering 2011. The amendments set objectives to recognise and reward volunteering, empower volunteer organisations, raise awareness of its social and economic value and celebrate diversity, address insurance and incentives for volunteers, the relationship between volunteering and paid work, the implementation budget and Community co-financing, and active citizenship.
