Measures to safeguard security of gas supply

This dossier concerns measures to safeguard security of gas supply. The amendments address import dependence, harmonised supply standards, protected customers, Preventive Action and Emergency Plans at national, regional and Community level, the roles of Competent Authorities, the Commission, the Gas Coordination Group, ENTSO-G and ACER, an 'energy security clause' in agreements with producer and transit third countries, solidarity between Member States, and declaration of a Community Emergency.
