Summary
A proposed recast directive on standards for the qualification and status of third-country nationals or stateless persons as beneficiaries of international protection and the content of that protection. Amendments address actors of protection, internal protection within the country of origin, the best interests of the child and child-specific persecution, membership of a particular social group and gender, family members, and social assistance and integration for refugees and subsidiary-protection beneficiaries.
