Summary

This own-initiative dossier concerns cohesion policy and investing in the real economy. The amendments rework recitals and provisions on responding to the financial crisis and the European Economic Recovery Plan, the role of the Structural and Cohesion Funds, the European Regional Development Fund and European Social Fund, eligibility of energy-efficiency and renewable-energy investments in housing, climate-related conditions, simplification of procedures, advance payments and co-financing.
