Summary
This own-initiative report concerns action against cancer through a European partnership. Amendments revise recitals on cancer mortality, primary and secondary prevention including screening and early detection, risk factors such as tobacco, alcohol, obesity, occupational and environmental carcinogens and endocrine disruptors, disparities across Member States and by socioeconomic status, the ageing population, and access to treatment for migrant and disadvantaged groups.
