Summary
This own-initiative report concerns promoting youth access to the labour market and strengthening trainee, internship and apprenticeship status. The amendments address youth unemployment during the economic crisis, atypical and precarious employment and the use of traineeships to replace regular employment, apprenticeships and the transition from education to work, age and gender discrimination, decent work standards, incentives and subsidies for employers, entrepreneurship and training, and the role of SMEs.
