Summary
A non-legislative dossier on the adoption by Estonia of the euro on 1 January 2011. The amendments dispute the timing, citing the rise in Estonian unemployment and the social and economic cost, propose postponement and rejection of the Commission proposal, call on the Estonian Government to maintain prudent fiscal policy and prevent price increases, and ask the Commission and Eurostat to verify compliance with the Maastricht criteria.
