Summary

This dossier concerns a programme to aid economic recovery through financial assistance to energy projects and a European Energy Efficiency Fund. The amendments address a financial facility within the Sustainable Energy Financing Initiative reusing uncommitted funds, support for bankable energy saving, energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, municipal, local and regional public-authority beneficiaries, implementation by International Financial Institutions, complementarity with the European Regional Development Fund, and clean urban transport.
