Staff Regulations of Officials of the European Union: European External Action Service personnel policy; new terminology

This regulation amends the Staff Regulations of EU officials for European External Action Service personnel policy and new terminology. Amendments concern recruitment to the EEAS, geographical and gender balance, the share of permanent Union officials, equal treatment of staff from national diplomatic services as temporary agents, the authority of Heads of Delegation, common training through a European Diplomatic Academy, and transitional measures for under-represented Member States.
