European Maritime Safety Agency: further development

The dossier is a proposed regulation on the further development of the European Maritime Safety Agency. The amendments address preventing and responding to marine pollution including from offshore oil and gas exploration and production, the Agency's assistance to the Commission on research and inspections in third countries, port state control and maritime traffic data, coastal coordination networks, appointment of the Executive Director, and the Erika and Prestige disasters.
