Derivatives markets: future policy actions

The dossier is an own-initiative report on derivatives markets and future policy actions. The amendments address speculation on agricultural commodity prices and its impact on the poor and food-importing countries, the role of derivatives in hedging and in the financial crisis, the AIG case, OTC derivatives and counterparty credit risk, central counterparty clearing facilities and trade repositories, sovereign credit default swaps, and the Greek debt crisis.
