Summary
This own-initiative report is a recommendation to the Council on the 65th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Amendments stress effective multilateralism and a stronger UN, the EU and its Member States as the largest contributors, reform of the UN Security Council and General Assembly, the EU speaking with a single voice through the Vice-President/High Representative, gender architecture, climate negotiations, the Millennium Development Goals and the Responsibility to Protect.
