Summary
This dossier concerns the 2009 discharge for the European Medicines Agency. The amendments grant, postpone or close the discharge and accounts, and address shortcomings in procurement procedures flagged by the Court of Auditors and Internal Audit Service, conflicts of interest and declarations of interest of experts and staff evaluating medicinal products, the agency's funding from fees paid by pharmaceutical companies, carryovers and the budgetary principle of annuality, and foreign-exchange hedging.
