EP Rules of Procedure, Rule 9 and Annexes: establishment of a joint Transparency Register between the Parliament and the Commission

The dossier amends the EP Rules of Procedure, Rule 9 and annexes, to establish a joint Transparency Register between the Parliament and the Commission. The amendments address Members' financial interests and standards of conduct, refraining from accepting gifts, long-term badges for persons in the transparency register, a public logbook of contacts with lobbyists, and a mandatory transparency register for organisations and self-employed persons involved in EU policy.
