Summary
This dossier concerns cooperation between national authorities responsible for the enforcement of consumer protection laws. The amendments call for the Commission to submit a report by 31 December 2014 assessing the effectiveness and operational mechanisms of the existing consumer protection cooperation regulation and to examine including additional consumer-protection laws in its annex with a view to broadening its scope and a possible revision.
