EU–USA–Iceland–Norway Air Transport Agreement, and EU–Iceland–Norway Ancillary Agreement on the application of the Air Transport Agreement
Non-legislative procedure — consent or opinion on an act.
Through this consent procedure, Parliament gives its consent to the conclusion, on behalf of the Union, of the Air Transport Agreement between the United States, the European Union and its Member States, Iceland and the Kingdom of Norway, together with the associated Ancillary Agreement between the Union and its Member States, Iceland and Norway on the application of that Air Transport Agreement. It acts on a request for consent submitted by the Council under Article 100(2) and Article 218(6) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and on the recommendation of the Committee on Transport and Tourism. Parliament instructs its President to forward its position to the Council, the Commission and the governments and parliaments of the Member States and of the United States, Iceland and Norway.
No committee amendments are tracked on AmendEU for this procedure; this page follows its roll-call votes in plenary instead.
