Summary
The dossier sets rules on food for infants and young children, food for special medical purposes, and total diet replacement for weight control. Amendments revise the title and definitions to cover very-low-calorie diets, formula for low-birth-weight and pre-term infants, food for intense muscular effort and food for people intolerant to gluten, restrict 'specialised nutrition' labelling on ordinary foodstuffs, and confer delegated-act powers.
