Fish stock conservation: multiannual plan for the Baltic salmon stock

The dossier establishes a multiannual plan for the Baltic salmon stock and the fisheries managing it. The amendments address sustainable management at maximum sustainable yield, smolt production capacity in wild salmon rivers, total allowable catches and fishing mortality rates, minimum landing sizes for salmon and sea trout, stocking and restocking to safeguard genetic diversity, commercial and recreational fisheries, and logbook and reporting requirements.
