Codecision dossier establishing an information-exchange mechanism for Member State/third-country intergovernmental agreements in the field of energy. Amendments cover the scope of agreements affecting the internal energy market and security of supply, notification of negotiations to the Commission, the Commission's role assessing compatibility with Union law, confidential commercial information, non-binding standard clauses or models, consistency with investment agreements and the Energy Charter, and reporting to the European Parliament.
