Summary

This dossier concerns basic safety standards for protection against ionising radiation. The amendments address protection of the environment and of occupational, medical and non-medical imaging exposure, dose constraints and dose limits for the eye, skin and extremities, protection of pregnant and breastfeeding women, exposure from frequent flying and cosmic radiation, worker categories and individual monitoring, health surveillance, training, licensing and registration requirements, and individual radiological monitoring systems.
