European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020

This dossier concerns the European Social Fund (ESF) for 2014-2020. Amendments link the Fund to employment, education, lifelong learning and active inclusion under the Europe 2020 strategy, and dispute the minimum share of resources ring-fenced for combating social exclusion and poverty (proposals ranging from 20% to 30%); they also address support for disadvantaged groups, social innovation, financial instruments, gender equality and coordination with other Union funds.
