Electromagnetic compatibility. Recast. 'Goods package'

The dossier is a recast Directive on electromagnetic compatibility within the 'Goods package'. The amendments address transitional periods for manufacturers and importers, an exemption for equipment designed solely for research and development on a business-to-business basis, the definition of electromagnetic disturbance, obligations to provide technical documentation and contact details, conformity assessment procedures and bodies, accreditation, the EU declaration of conformity, and notified bodies.
