Non-automatic weighing instruments: making available on the market. Recast. 'Goods package'

This dossier recasts the rules on making available on the market of non-automatic weighing instruments. The amendments set out obligations of manufacturers, importers and distributors, including indicating name and contact address, drawing up technical documentation, the EU declaration of conformity and CE marking, conformity assessment procedures, accreditation and notification of conformity assessment bodies, and provision of instructions and information in a language easily understood by end-users.
