Greenhouse gas emissions, climate change: mechanism for monitoring and reporting

This dossier establishes a mechanism for monitoring and reporting greenhouse gas emissions and climate change. The amendments address reporting of climate finance to developing countries, use of revenues from auctioning allowances, low-carbon development strategies, national inventory systems under the UNFCCC and Kyoto Protocol, the Kyoto flexible mechanisms and carry-over of assigned amount units, and monitoring of emissions including methane, black carbon, fluorinated gases, maritime transport and aviation.
