Summary
This dossier concerns the Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation 2014-2020. Amendments recall the Chernobyl and Fukushima Daiichi accidents, finance the promotion of nuclear safety, radiation protection and safeguards in accession and neighbourhood and third countries while stating the instrument does not promote nuclear energy, address spent fuel, radioactive waste and decommissioning, debate financial reference amounts and multiannual indicative programmes, and link to the Multiannual Financial Framework and Horizon 2020.
