Summary
This is an own-initiative report on the role of property rights, property ownership and wealth creation in eradicating poverty and fostering sustainable development in developing countries. The amendments focus on the gender gap in property and land rights for women, large-scale land acquisitions and leases, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, women's access to land, inheritance, savings and credit, and protecting women including in post-conflict situations.
