Summary

Report on amending budget 1/2011, mobilising the EU Solidarity Fund following flooding in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Croatia and Romania. The amendment asks the Commission to monitor that Member States use the assistance exclusively to cover expenditure related to mitigating the damage caused by severe flooding in the affected regions and for the benefit of the local population.
