Summary
An own-initiative report on EU external policies in favour of democratisation. The amendments mostly add citations to instruments including the UN Conventions on the Rights of the Child and on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women, ILO Convention 169, the ACP-EC Partnership Agreement, and EU financial instruments for democratisation and human rights, and affirm human rights and democracy as founding values of external action.
