Summary
The dossier concerns the modernisation of public procurement. Amendments urge simplifying the existing procurement directives and reducing administrative burdens for SMEs, call for reform of the Agreement on Government Procurement and greater reciprocity and market access against third countries, and seek to incorporate social, environmental, labour and sustainability standards, ILO Convention 94, anti-corruption and conflict-of-interest rules, and exclusion of firms convicted of organised crime.
