EP Rules of Procedure: implementing the European Citizens’ Initiative

Amendment of the European Parliament's Rules of Procedure to implement the European Citizens' Initiative. The amendments concern public hearings on successful citizens' initiatives under Regulation (EU) No 211/2011, allocating responsibilities among the President, a Vice-President responsible for citizens' initiatives, the Conference of Committee Chairs and the committee responsible for petitions, and procedures for organising hearings and examining initiatives, including failed ones.
