Trade aspects of the Eastern partnership

This own-initiative dossier concerns trade aspects of the Eastern Partnership. The amendments address DCFTAs as tools of EU trade policy linking economic integration to democracy and the rule of law, their relation to Association Agreements and the 'more for more' principle, WTO accession of Azerbaijan and Belarus, DCFTA negotiations with Ukraine and Armenia, sanctions on Belarus over human rights, China's growing presence, and frozen regional conflicts.
